The red telephone box was originally designed by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott, and is a familiar sight on the streets of the United Kingdom, Malta, Bermuda and Gibraltar. Despite their reducing numbers, the red phone box is still seen as a British cultural icon throughout the world.
