This is in the new display hall that is under construction. It is a Mirrlees, Bickerton and Day JVSS16 built in Stockport in the 1950s and used at BAC Filton, Bristol to provide standby power for the runway lighting. It is a turbocharged V16 and I bet it makes a real screaming racket unlike the slow speed naturally aspirated diesels it shares this hall with.
