The village of Flamborough sits in the middle of a chalk headland that juts roughly four miles into the North Sea on the Yorkshire Coast. As such there is a feel of isolation and individuality, although Bridlington is not that far away. Probably the fact that land is only to the west - the other three sides is a coastal environment.
