Coelbren Tunnel

A public footpath now runs through this former railway tunnel. Initially part of the Neath and Brecon railway, it was opened in 1873. The closest station being Colbren junction that was located 250m to the west. The line was closed to passengers in 1962 and finally to freight in 1977.
