The West Riding CC milestone on the A656 just south of the traffic island junction with the A63 loses more paint as years pass by. It also needs uplifting. DONCASTER/21 MILES/PONTEFRACT/6¾ MILES/CASTLEFORD/3½ MILES on the left face is difficult to read or under soil level. Likewise BOROBRIDGE/23 MILES/WETHERBY/10¾ MILES/ABERFORD/3½ MILES on the right face.
