According to the city council's website, the Fire Station was established in 1935 and incorporates elements of the former Trinity Methodist Chapel of 1856. The building was converted again into residential use in 2019 Image It has been so much altered in the two changes of use that nothing can be seen of the old chapel at its heart in this view, although it is evident in the Peckitt Street elevation as seen in an older view of the fire station before conversion Image
