Alfa coaches depart from a dedicated parking lot at Burtonwood Services on the M62. Passengers on their outward journey are picked up from points around the North West of England and North Wales on feeder coaches. There is then up to an hour's wait as luggage is transferred. The procedure is reversed for the return journey. It is efficient but can create frustrating long waits.
