Steam powered worsted spinning mill built in 1912 by Thomas Ambler and Sons. This very distinctive mill was built with a reinforced concrete frame on the Hennebique system with infill by large windows and red brick. The engine house still survives along with the truncated chimney. The weather has degraded the image as it was raining and dull. As far as I can see this important building has no statutory protection. It is currently owned by Country Baskets.
