This was the original old Stevenage bus station. Built in 1959 and located on Danestrete in front of Daneshill House and with a refurbishment and redesign in 1985 the bus station has served Stevenage residents for 63 years with 11 different bus stops A - K. The last official day of use for the old bus station was on Saturday 25th June 2022 which was one of the busiest days in the town centre as Stevenage residents and bus drivers say goodbye to the old bus station after 63 years of service. The new bus station is now located on Lytton Way behind Daneshill House which opened on Sunday 26th June 2022 and is called Stevenage Interchange with 11 bus stops A - K.
