The east front is an accomplished composition, distinguished by a full-height relieving arch recessed in the projecting pedimented centre. It was built for Nicholas Smithsend, c1790. The entrance was moved to the west for Lt Col. H.G. Webb, c1880. Grade II listed. Now flats.
