The building dates from 1898 and is Grade II listed. https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1220284?section=official-list-entry In the 1990s it was known as the Left Bank Restaurant. Apparently, during the 1998 G8 Summits, diners here included Cherie Blair, Hillary Clinton and Naina Yeltsin! It has more recently functioned as a Big Bite burger/pizza/kebab restaurant which has also since closed. The 102 metres (335 feet) tall Bank Tower Two behind the bank dates from 2019.
