18th century coaching inn at the crossroads of the A426 Rugby - Southam and former A45 Birmingham - Northampton roads. The motorway network (and especially the M45 that by-passes the village to the south) has made this a less important location on the national road map than it once was, although the crossroads are still busy. Nevertheless, this large pub with accommodation appears to be thriving.
