Daneshill House, also known as the Stevenage Borough Council Offices, is located in Stevenage Town Centre on Danestrete, built in 1958 as Stevenage Development Corporation who designed and built Stevenage town centre throughout the 1950s and 1960s. Stevenage Development Corporation was taken over by Stevenage Borough Council in 1985, when Daneshill House would get a new extension block built to the rear of the building facing west in 1985, which would later become the Customer Service Centre. Daneshill House is due for demolition as part of the Regeneration Project by Stevenage Borough Council; they will be having new council offices built within Stevenage town centre. Daneshill House was one of the first buildings to be built in Stevenage town centre and will become one of the last ones to be demolished and replaced.
