At the top of Jawbone Hill is a Viewpoint Marker with fabulous views over the Don Valley, Oughtibridge, Middlewood and Sheffield. Next to the marker is another, much older, standing stone known as Birley Stone. Note ... Jawbone Hill is also known as, and is marked on OS maps as, Whalejaw Hill, but this term is only used by non-Oughtibridge people! Image Image Image
