Seen at its junction with Freetown Way. Since July 2022, traffic has been unable to enter this short section between Freetown Way and the Hull History Centre entrance. The city council said the closure was necessary to ensure the safe movement of construction vehicles and Hull New Theatre touring company vehicles during the conversion of Hull’s former Central Fire Station into a new learning centre for Ron Dearing University Technical College (UTC).It was envisaged to stay in place "until summer 2023".
