Restriction to canal width at Ardrishaig

This is the Crinan Canal at its eastern end in Ardrishaig on Loch Fyne. The restriction is less than a kilometre from the sea lock at the end of the canal. There are two concrete 'rafts' appearing to be quite old. One of them at least has the ironwork of what would have been the pivot for the hingeing of a gate of the type used at locks.
