An obelisk on Old Bath Road, on the corner of Speen Lane. The obelisk was the Speenhamland Lamp, built in 1828, with a replacement 20th century lamp. It was initially erected in The Broadway in Newbury, and relocated in 1888 to its current position. The obelisk is made of Bath stone.
