Demolition of the old Allander Leisure Centre has started, following the building's closure in January 2023 and the transfer of its facilities and equipment to the new Allander Leisure and Day Care Centre adjacent to it, which opened in March 2023. From this angle it appears that demolition has only just started, but in fact a large chunk of the building has already gone.
