After crossing the Cuffley Brook the B156 ascends towards Goffs Oak. The sign welcomes motorists and pedestrians to the Borough of Broxbourne, with its badger logo, having just left Welwyn Hatfield - all part of hertfordshire, of course. The sign also mentions the twin towns of Dinant, Stains and Sutera (actually in Belgium, France and Italy respectively).
