A daughter church of the Parish Church of St. James's, Heckmondwike. This was built in 1888 as a mission church for Norristhorpe, in the ecclesiastical parish of Roberttown. It was transferred to Heckmondwike in 1933. Unfortunately it had to close in December 2015.
