Terrace housing on York Road. Escalating rents and house prices in the centre of Bristol mean that young people are unlikely to be able to live there (unless in the burgeoning student accommodation) and are driven to the outskirts or nearby towns. Former tobacco workers' homes in gentrified areas like Southville now have BMWs parked outside.
