Curzon Cinema

Curzon Cinema (previously The Picture House and The Maxime) was opened on 20th April 1912 for Victor Cox, with a fundraiser for the families of Titanic victims. The building is Grade II listed. The cinema is the oldest continually running, purpose built independent cinema in the country. The left shop front is Teatro Lounge previously a storage space for the cinema.
