A dead end road (at present) leading to Highwood Copse Primary School. There is pedestrian access to the road past Newbury College. This photograph looks out to the A339 and Premier Inn. The land to the left (north) of the road is the proposed location of Mayfield Point, a development currently going through the planning system, with an appeal being heard in May 2023. The proposal is for a care home, hospice, 85 houses, an ALDI shop and electric vehicle charging station.
