The evening sun on one of two similar milemarkers at Higham Toll on the A915. It is on the east side just south of the B940 junction. The milemarkers of Fife are generally well looked after but some rust is developing on this one. On the top of the pediment the name of the maker is cast. ST ANDREWS FOUNDRY. This operated between 1855 and 1925. The milemarker is supported by one strut at the back although a second one is now lost.
