Sandford Park is described by Cheltenham Borough Council as 'one of Cheltenham's lesser known treasures'. There are two sections, on opposite sides of College Road: to the east a recreational area and to the west an ornamental garden, part of which is seen in this view on a rather dull miserable day. The park was acquired by the borough council in 1927.
