It is a snowy winter morning in early March. On the left, under the awning, is a small supermarket with a post office. In the distance can be seen the flats of Joseph Latham House, straddling the entrance to the shopping precinct from Henley Road. Riley Square is a development of shops and homes built by Coventry Corporation in the early 1960s. The precinct is awaiting redevelopment.
