Pair of former lodges on High Street, with no 117 (on the left) being double ended with a central link between the two and no 119 (on the right) being of more traditional design of a single unit. As to what building they served, the 1866 6 inch map showed a building named "Fairoak Pavilion" at the back of the narrow strip of land on which they stood, although subsequent maps do not name this building. However a planning design statement dated November 2013 refers to no 117 being named "Bembridge House Lodge" and no 119 as "Cherry Cottage", the former suggesting that they were lodges to a "Bembridge House", although such a building does not appear on any maps. On the other hand, the land behind the two lodges is now a cul de sac named Bembridge House Close, dating from the 1980s/90s, suggesting that "Fairoak Pavilion" may have been renamed at some point, and later demolished.
