Pub on Station Road. It dates back from 1720 when it consisted of two cottages which were directly on the waterfront of Brading Harbour, before the building in 1882 of the railway into Bembridge Station on an embankment and the draining of the landward side of this. The cottages were then converted into a hotel, before being rebuilt in its present form in the 1920s in the shape of a boat.
