On Falcon Road West a single storey retail outlet is being replaced by a 5-storey block of 11 flats, with parking and garaging, and environmentally sustainable with solar panels and air source heat pumps. There were 47 objections to the planning application; none in support. Looking west along the road to Morningside Road, with the Library opposite.
