The goal of "Our Future Health" is "to revolutionise the way we fight disease by collecting information from millions of volunteers across the UK". and "help researchers find ways to prevent, detect and treat diseases earlier." Volunteers participating complete a long questionnaire about their health and lifestyle, and health of family members. Then attend a clinic, static or mobile like this one in a supermarket car park, for measurement of height and weight, and giving a sample of blood, tests on this will include extraction of DNA, the rest of the sample will be frozen for future research. The aim is to collect information from 5 million volunteers, the number tested is already overb 200,000. See Image for a view of the other side.
