A massive sheet metal piling flood protection wall shields the Acorn Industrial Park beyond from flooding, although the stains on the metalwork show the normal maximum water level. Although this is a river in an urban environment a kingfisher whirred its way downstream in a blue streak seconds before the photo was taken.
