Arguably, this is a view that would not have been possible until a few months ago. Seen from the Porter Street footbridge which opened at the end of September 2022, it shows the A63 Hessle Road through the site of the scheme to build an underpass at Mytongate https://nationalhighways.co.uk/our-roads/yorkshire-and-north-east/a63-castle-street/#overview . Currently, the focus of the work has shifted to the northern side of the road (on the left). I think this is mainly the stabilisation of the ground so that the level of the road can be lowered.
