B4118 is Water Orton Road connecting Water Orton and Castle Bromwich. A452, named Chester Road for much of its length, runs between M40 junction 13 south of Leamington and the A5 north of Brownhills. It feels as though it was an important route for freight in the heyday of motor manufacturing. Here it is Collector Road running parallel to M6, left, which has taken much of that traffic but A452 is still busy (and fast).
