It is located on the Kurin Road. There is a tradition of an ancient church here, but it is surrounded by confusion. The present C of I Moyletra Church is supposed to be a replacement of an earlier church on this site. According to the OS memoirs "tradition says that one of the O'Kahans...was the founder of an ancient church...that formerly stood on the same site where Moyletra Church at present stands. There was a burial ground attached to it".
