Monument Close Shops and Car Park

The shops at Monument Close, opposite the Falkland Memorial by the two mini roundabouts. The shops at present are a Co-op, betting shop, fish and chips shop and a takeaway. A corner shop (McColls) closed recently - the shop that has a sign "OWS" is derelict. There are some flats above the shops. The car park is very busy at school times with many children using the shops to buy snacks, and being picked up by their parents in the car park. This causes a lot of congestion on the roundabouts.
