A basin off to the right, where there was no basin before. Engineer's Wharf was actually along the canal side, somewhat to the north of here, where Montgomery House is now. All the blocks of flats on the surrounding estate are named after canals or prominent places on them. The two blocks here are Welford House and Ashby House.
