Number 11 Martinslade was originally two back to back cottages, with identical fronts to both north and south, now one house. Built in the early 19th century of ashlar under a slate pyramid roof. The cottages were reputedly built for employees of Wragg's Wharf. Back to back is a rarity in rural Wiltshire. Listed, grade II, with details at: https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1243890
