This is a modern version of a medieval design maze or labyrinth, setting in chalk on an area that was formerly a heavily contaminated scrapyard. It has been covered with chalk rubble and is being maintained as a wildflower meadow, to add biodiversity to the predominantly woodland Tower Hamlets Cemetery Park to the north.
