Carved stone post by the A30, in parish of LUDGVAN (PENWITH District), on rise West of Canon's Town, crude painting (July 99), on South side of road. Hayle facets, erected by the Hayle Bridge Causeway turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- : PENZANCE / 5 MILES / LAND'S END / 15 : : HAYLE / 3 MILES / CAMBORNE / 9 / REDRUTH / 12 / TRURO / 21 : Carved benchmark on right of left face. Grade II listed. List Entry Number: 1327679 Milestone Society National ID: CW_PZCA05.
