The bypass road is called Ludenscheid Link, From the left there is a chalk board for The Hatch coffee bar, a large oval letter box, the steps down to the pedestrian subway an open-plan telephone kiosk, a no through road sign that would be better placed at the junction with Commercial Street, and Tudor House, which is gradually being converted into flats.
