The main shopping street in the town centre, viewed from its junction with Front Street. The left hand side is mostly original 19th and early 20th century, but the right hand side buildings are later 20th century replacements. A nice view of Christ Church at the far end, the parish church, built 1866. Pictured on an unusually quiet day - New Year Bank Holiday.
