Croft Hill is on the right, with severely pollarded trees. It's a short steep hill connecting Croft Road with Abbey Road at the top. Cypress Close is a cul-de-sac constructed across the land that was formerly part of Croft Lodge Convent School, which closed in 1992; the school buildings, one of which is on the left, have been converted into flats.
