Marking the modern border between Hereford and Hampton Bishop parishes. At the junction of Perrystone Lane Footway and Ledbury Road against a perimeter wall of Tupsley House. The lane is pedestrianised at this point. The H would presumably be for Hereford, the L for Lugwardine (to the NE), and C for "city of" perhaps. The area and nearest church is Tupsley. The design of the stone is different to the parish stones within the city boundary eg Image A collection of similar images can be seen at https://www.geograph.org.uk/article/Boundary-Stones-of-the-City-of-Hereford Inscription: L / H C / (18?) 8 Milestone Society National ID: HF_HERHAB01pb
