Camphill House is a Victorian villa, which was purchased in 1929 by David Patrick, who donated it to Kirkintilloch Town Council in memory of his brother. It became the William Patrick Memorial Library. In 1994 the library moved to a new purpose-built William Patrick Library on West High Street. The house appears to have reverted to residential use. The gates are no longer used and access to the house is from Camphill Avenue.
