The interior as restored. The box was moved to its current location in 2020 and is the central feature of Lowdham Railway Heritage. Taken on the occasion of a public open day. The restoration has been based on photos taken around 1960 and represents a typical rural station signal box, complete with level crossing, showing its Midland Railway origins. The restoration received a Highly Commended award as part of the National Railway Heritage Awards 2022.
