Looking south-east towards Wells Road in Penn, Wolverhampton. There are five full size football pitches in the Windsor Avenue Playing Fields, and a further junior size pitch. Changing rooms, and parking for about fifty cars are by the Pinfold Lane entrance. There are also some areas of woodland with some very mature trees, and a children's play area near the Linton Road entrance. That grassy mound for climbing and rolling down near the playground looks like a random glacial deposit. This Christmas Day 2022 image was taken shortly before midday. The gloomy conditions did improve in the following half hour.
