Sydnope Hill, Two Dales

Although the village is located between two small dales, Hall Dale and Sydnope Dale, its name "Two Dales" actually derives from “Toad Holes”, meaning “fox earths” (https://www.peakdistrictonline.co.uk/two-dales/ Peak District online).
