These houses have been built on the site formerly occupied by the 1960s Battle of Britain public house. On the left is the remaining 1960s shopping parade. The white house (far left) also used to be a corner shop until the late 1980s (maybe early 1990s). Up the slope off to the right are Sandringham Road and Buckingham Road.
