Looking north-west towards housing in Windsor Avenue. I have lived nearby for nearly 48 years and this is the first time I have set foot in these fields in Penn, Wolverhampton. Five full sized football pitches are available, plus one junior sized pitch. The colourful red-stemmed shrub on the right is a variety of dogwood. This image was taken at 12:00 GMT (UTC) on Christmas Day in 2022. Plenty of dog-walkers were about, but no footballers. Cloudy and bright with occasional shafts of sunlight. Wind south-south-west Force 2-3 Temperature 9·5°C
