Even many small towns can boast a retail park on their outskirts nowadays. They are often blamed for sucking the life out of town centres with many of the big name retailers decamping to these sites. They do, however, generally offer larger stores and plenty of free parking so attract a significant footfall. This new park on the outskirts of Ashbourne is evidently busy on a Saturday in the run up to Christmas.
